13-200 GALVANIZED METAL PRIMER

A primer for new or weathered galvanized metal.

PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES – 13-200 Galvanized Metal Primer is a linseed alkyd resin primer formulated particularly for galvanized metal. It’s being white is a great aid in covering with finish coatings for light colors. It has excellent adhesion and great rust inhibitive qualities.

FINISH – Flat (600 Gloss – 0-5)

COLORS – White

SPREADING RATE – 700 sq. ft. at 1 mil dry film thickness

DRYING TIME – 1 hour tack 2-4 hours dry

VISCOSITY – 65 – 75 KU

THINNING – Mineral Spirits

SURFACE PREPARATIONSurface should be clean and free of all foreign substances. No special pretreatment to galvanized metal is necessary. Apply 13-200 Galvanized Metal Primer as it comes in container with brush or roller. May be reduced as necessary for spray.
